Maroon 5 - Stutter

"Stutter" by Maroon 5
I really, I really, whoa
I really need to know
I really, I really, whoa
Or else, you gotta let me go, oh
I really, I really

This time I really need to do things right
Shivers that you give me keep me freezing all night

You make me shudder, oh yeah
I can't believe it, I'm not myself,
Suddenly I'm thinkin' about no one else
You make me shudder

Oh I really need to know
Or else you gotta let me go
You're just a fantasy girl
It's an impossible world
All I want is to be with you always
I give you everything
Pay some attention to me
All I want is just you and me always

Give me affection
I need your perfection
Cause you feel so good
You make me stutter, stutter

If I could touch you, I'd never let go
Now you got me screaming and I cannot shut up, oh, shut up, yeah
Now I am lying on the bedroom floor barely even speaking

And I cannot get up, get up
Oh I really, I really, I really need to know
Or else you gotta let me go, ooh

You're just a fantasy girl
It's an impossible world
All I want is to be with you always
I give you everything
Pay some attention to me
All I want is just you and me always

Give me affection
I need your perfection
Cause you feel so good
You make me stutter, stutter, stutter

You knock me down, I can't get up, I'm stuck
Gotta stop shaking me up
I can't eat, can't sleep, can't think,
Sinking under, I'm sinking under

You're just a fantasy girl
It's an impossible world
All I want is to be with you always
I give you everything
Pay some attention to me
All I want is just you and me always

You're just a fantasy girl
It's an impossible world
All I want is to be with you always
Give me affection, I need your perfection
Cause it feels so good you make me stutter

I'll give you everything
Give some attention to me
All I want is you and me always

Give me affection
I need your perfection

Cause it feels so good
You make me stutter
You make me stutter
You make me stutter

Stutter is one of the track from Maroon 5’s album :  Hands All Over. This album was released on 2010. Produced by producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange, the album was released by A&M/Octone Records on August 18, 2010. The album received generally mixed reviews from music critics, though many of them praised it for its production. Some critics have noted that the album features a more soulful style than Maroon 5's previous works. Maroon 5 went on tour to promote the album in the summer of 2011.
The track that I’m going to talk about it the track number 3 titled Stutter. This song is expressing a boy’s feeling when he’s in love with the girl but she does not reciprocate his feelings. He’s willing to do anything to be noticed by this girl.

“Oh I really need to know
Or else you gotta let me go”
The boy is questioning the girl why she declines him. He can’t go if the girl does not tell him the reason.

“You're just a fantasy girl
It's an impossible world”
He’s thinking that she’s just a fantasy for him because it’s impossible for him to make the girl love him. He feels like there’s no way that this girl will accept his love.

“All I want is to be with you always
I give you everything
Pay some attention to me
All I want is just you and me always”
He already tries everything that he can do just to catch her attention but she still ignores him.  He needs her attention because it feels good for him to get her attention.

“You knock me down, I can't get up, I'm stuck
Gotta stop shaking me up
I can't eat, can't sleep, can't think,
Sinking under, I'm sinking under”
She’s ignoring him and it affects him so much that he can not do anything properly.

So as you can see the lyrics, the boy does everything that he can to to with the girl but she keeps ignoring him. The song has a really fun melody even though the lyrics are kinda sad but still overalls the song is very great!

Dewa Athena

Hey guys! How are you? I hope you guy had a great tie at school. I’m going to tell you about the event at my school.
On March 10th – 12th our school held an Event called Dewa Athena. Dewa Athena is a sport competition among the classes. In Dewa Athena there are a lot of sport competition such as basketball, football, relay, volleyball, tug of war, and many more!
At first each class should choose one girl and one boy to represent their class as the sport man and sport woman. Our class chose Melody and Hiba to represent our class. We also made class jersey for us.
On the first day, we gathered at the Lapangan Bali to join the opening ceremony. At the opening ceremony, the headmaster gave speech and then flew some balloons to symbolize the opening of Dewa Athena. After that all students joined the marathon. We ran together with our classmates and seniors. It was very fun.
The first competition that our class joined was the basketball competition. Our class’ team members were Pungki, Aina, Ghanes, Hiba, and Ghiffari. We were very happy because our class won the match and we went to the semi-final. The next competition was tug of war. We all cheered for X-9 and and we were so happy that our class also won the competition. I took some pictures with my friends using Polaroid camera.
On the second day I was late because I had to go to my mom’s office first. In my opinion, the people were not as enthusiastic as on the first day of Dewa Athena. I guess it was because some class had lose so they were not coming to Lapangan Bali on that day. After all the match had ended I went to eat with my friends.

On the third day I was not able to go to the Dewa Athena because I had to go to my brother’s graduation ceremony. So I cheered my friends through line and wished them luck. That’s all about the sport event, Dewa Athena at my school and sees you next time!

Education For a Better Future

Education is a topic we frequently talked in our daily life, especially as a student. Education is very important in our life because it is the basic thing that we need when we stepped in to the adult world. The things that we learn now surely will help us a lot in the future. That’s why we already have to know what our goals are in the future.

Despite the importance of the education, many students in our country still considered education as a burdensome obligation. As we can see right now, many students still go to school half-heartedly because they haven’t realized how important the education is for their career later. We should be very grateful because not all people have the chance to get an adequate education in school like us. But still, many students skip classes or skip school and disobey the school rules.

As you can see right now, seeing students skip classes in Indonesia is not hard to find. Actually there are many reasons why they like to disobey the rules. First of all is they feel bored at school, so they constantly feel want to go home when they’re at school. Second, they feel tired because of many tasks from all the subjects.  In my opinion students can’t be forced to study all the subjects including the subjects that they have no interest in. The results from being pushed are they become lazy to go to school, or maybe sleep in the class and do other things that decrease the effectiveness of studying. Beside that many of the students have the mindset “being a rebel is cool”, so in order to be seen as a “cool” one they thought that they should be a rebel. The other thing is in Indonesia we're totally result oriented. We only value the result without seeing the process, that's why many students cheat on their test in order to get the best result.

To fix all those problems in school, we need the cooperation among the students, school, and also the government. Why doesn’t our education system let us take classes that are relevant to our major or we have our interest in. Therefore, we aren’t wasting our time nor energy doing things that we have no interest in. Beside that students maybe will be happier to study because they get to learn the things they are passionate with. If they like to study, they won’t skip classes or become lazy because they enjoyed the things that they learn at the moment. Next is we have to apreciate the process more than the result, because process is a very important part of education rather than the result. Also we need let the students know  how important the education for their future life.

If the education system is already fixed, the students will get a better education at school and they will be able to have a better life in the future. When the education level get better it will increase the quality of the students and they will have the ability to think globally and hopefully they will be very successful. As the next generation in Indonesia, I hope that all the students will be able to lead our country to a better life and create a sustainable world also becoming one of the most prosperous country.

Unique Architecture : Bird's Nest Stadium (国家体育场)

Beijing National Stadium, officially called as the National Stadium (Chinese: 国家体育场; read as: guójiā tǐyùchǎng), also known as the Bird's Nest (鸟巢niǎocháo), is a stadium in Beijing. The stadium was a project among architects Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron of Herzog & de Meuron, project architect Stefan Marbach, artist Ai Weiwei, and CADG which was led by chief architect Li Xinggang. The stadium was designed for use throughout the 2008 Summer Olympics and Paralympics and will be used again in the 2022 Winter Olympics. The stadium is currently used mostly for football matches.

Bird's Nest Stadium located at the Olympic Green Village, Chaoyang and the establishment of this stadium costs US$428 million. This stadium started to gain its popularity since the 2008 Summer Olympic. The construction of it started on December 24, 2003. On July, 2004, the project was stopped temporarily due to the amendment of the design. On December 27 of the same year, the construction was resumed and finished in March, 2008.

The unique shape of this stadium attracts many attentions from the tourists. So, since the Summer Olympic finished, the stadium is being used for concerts, football match, and also as a tourism object.

I've visited this stadium once on my 2014's summer holiday. It was huge and very amazing upclose. If you want to enter the stadium, you have to buy a ticket near the main gate. In the summer you can have a picnic at the garden in front of this stadium while on the winter it usually covered by snow.

My Holiday

Hey, guys! My name is Talitha and I’m gonna tell you about my new year holiday. On the last holiday my family and I went to Singapore for 4 days. For me spending holiday with my family is very exciting after having stress from school, homeworks, and exams.

We took our flight on the 24th of December. It was very crowded at the airport because the next day was the Christmas Day, so many people took the flight on that day too. We arrived at Singapore approximately in the afternoon. We had our lunch at an Indonesian restaurant in Lucky Plaza. After that, we went for shopping and walking around the Orchard Road.

On the next day, we went to Universal Studio at the Sentosa Island. The theme park was very packed with people, so we decided to buy the express card so we didn’t have queuing for too long. After we finished all the rides, we decided to go back to the hotel. The funny thing was I met my friend, Rania at the theme park. She went there with her family too. We talked for a while and then we parted with each other.

For the next day we visited some tourist attractions such as the Gardens by The Bay,  Sentosa Express Train, and many more. We spent our last day walking around the malls and in the afternoon we went to the airport and bought some souvenirs for family and friends.

For the rest of the holiday, I spent my days for softball practice with my friends because we were going to join the Red Fox Cup XIII. It was my first time joining a softball club and also my first time joining a softball league. We had our practice every day, sometimes in the morning or in the afternoon.

On the 6th of January we were having our first match with SMAN 7 Bandung. Even though we lose we were still very happy because our coach said that with only 3 weeks practice, our performance on the field was very good. The second match we had was with SMAN 22 Bandung. Their team was very popular because people said that they were very good. In this match I got the position at the 2nd base. The sun was shining brightly and it burned our skin. So we became more tanned than before.

I was very happy when we had our match with SMAN 11 Bandung because we won the game. I stroked 2 points for my team. After the Red Fox Cup XIII finished, even though we didn’t win we were still very happy because it was a very precious experience for us.

That’s all about the activities that I did on the last holiday. Thank you!

My School Life

Hello everyone! My name is Talitha Aurellia. I'm currently studying at SMAN 3 Bandung. I entered this school on August 2015. I used to study at the private school, that's why I was a little bit shocked with the way of studying here. Luckily, I'm already getting used to it.

My class is X Science 9 and the homeroom teacher is Mr. Roy. He's very kind and calm. My classmates also very kind and fun, but sometimes they're very ambitious. There are 37 students in my class. My chair mate's name is Zahra. She’s very funny and kind.

In SMAN 3 Bandung I joined 3 extracurricular which is, Foster ( Softball Club), SSR ( Art Club ), and Jepret ( Photography Club). There are few activities that I’ve joined in this school. Some of them are becoming the culture festival committee, joining LKS, and many more.

For the culture festival I became the logistics committee. It was very tiring because I had to went back and forth from school to Lapangan Bali to take some equipments that are needed. On the afternoon I spent most of my time at the backstage with Teh Adzkia to help her manage the talents that are going to go to the stage.  Around 6PM Teh Adzkia told me that my shift has finished so I can go and watch the show. I watch the rest of the show with my friends. The are Adera and Hivi as the guest stars.

One of the most memorable activity is when I joined the LKS activity. The activity took 3 days and 2 night and we had to stay at the Rindam III Siliwangi which located at Manado Street. In LKS we had to be discipline and on time. We trained our discipline here, even we only got 2 minutes for taking shower.

Actually studying here is kinda tiring but I’m happy that I’m getting used to it, beside that I have friends that I can share my story with. Thank you for taking your time to read it.

Pocci Café

On the 7th of September I visited Pocci Café with my friends. We visited this café to complete the English task about describing our favorite place in Bandung. Zahra and I chose this café because it’s very comfy and the foods are nice. We ordered French fries, sweet potato carage, hot chocolate, and banana split.

Pocci Café is a new café in Bandung. The café is located on Cimanuk Street number 12.  This café serves small meals, tea, and coffee. It’s a right place to grab a bite with your friends and family when you have free time. Pocci café is dominated by red color and the theme is like inside a red telephone box from Britain. The mascot of this café is a white dog with red nose and it’s very cute. The owner of this café said that the name “Pocci” is taken from her dog’s name. The price range for the food and beverages is from 30k rupiah – 80k rupiah. The waiters are very friendly and nice. We can sit for hours and enjoy the free wifi. The last thing is don’t forget to take some pictures inside the café.
